  • I like Bebot. It has a surprisingly high sound quality for, well, a toy.

  • Me too (as regards Bebot, not as regards me being a toy etc).

  • NICE! There is no better feeling in app purchasing than watch listing an app (Orphion) for a long time and then being rewarded when it goes on sale. Similar with TotalEnergy Tuner, though I just recently discovered that one.

Bebot - It's absolutely not a toy. Rich, powerful, and varied sounds with customization options that border on full synthesis. And universal, too!

Orphion - This one looks kind of unique. I did some digging on it and I think it was pulled from the App Store rather controversially a year or two ago. Anyone actually use Orphion?

  • Bebot is the man! I just emailed the developer a few days ago asking about MIDI so I can sequence the little guy. If anyone would like to email them as well it might help. Just imagine him singing on his own without the need to physically play it, be an awesome addition to any band...

After a long time thinking this was a toy, I finally picked it up last week. The cartoon robot is quite misleading; these tones are top-shelf.

Funny you should ask. I just started putting together a few pad configurations in Orphion that are perfect for a particular task. I won't say what just yet, because I'm trying to get the guts to put together a video of what I'm doing with it.

  • Agreed. Bebot is deceptively sonorous.

  • I have always hoped that I'd one day get a fortune cookie telling me I was deceptively sonorous ......not so far.

  • I've alwayed hoped I'd get a fortune cookie telling me I was Bebot.

  • ...in bed.

  • Everyone is better than you.

  • I liked bebot better when it was called Thumbjam.

  • Well, Bebot had been out for a year when Thumbjam was released...
