Koala and Drambo problem

I am constantly having problems with projects that have used Koala drum kits . I have made some songs in Drambo and when I try to open them, the Koala kit doesn't play. I have checked the save audio unit settings tab in the Koala settings, but nothing has changed. Any ideas ? Thanks

    Koala's u.i. needs to be opened in a session before MIDI input works.

    Thanks , you mean open as a standalone? I guess some bug.

    Thanks , you mean open as a standalone? I guess some bug.

    I mean as an AU. Until the AU’s window is open, the AU doesn’t respond to midi.

    I opened the window and hit on the pads and no sound. Even the sequence doesn't play too. It doesn't do this in AUM.

    I have tried something like this. But it is quite a while ago. I don’t remember details, but the samples are still there but it might have something to do with the midi mapping.

    It could be caused by the orientation of your ipad. Landscape or horisontal.

    But again. I don’t remember the details.

    Yes! I know precisely what you’re talking about regarding the device orientation remapping the pad assignments.
    This is the reason I now keep “use MIDI mapping” enabled inside Koala's>Settings >Midi. Then Midi map to the pads. This circumvents the orientation thing, as opposed to using the “MIDI can select pads” option.
    But I still have to open Koala’s AU UI once after launching Drambo too, just to clarify.
