Recommendations for USB-C, HDMI charging and Audio adapters...
new iPad Pro 5th gen is arriving soon and as I will be using it (with Logic Pro - iOS) as the DAW, I need to get a good quality adapter/interface that will support video out from the iPad to a monitor, pass through charging and audio out as well...
Price is not really a consideration, but I'd suggest around $250-$300 AUD will probs be the max....preferably without a cable (ie plugs directly into the USB-C port) but it's not a deal killer, for the right product.

I got one of these recently second hand for 10 bucks:

I like it very much.
Nice, that's the ticket! I won't get one used down here but it can start the ball rolling!
Thanks for the heads up - just bought one. $119 AUD.
Thats great. The transport buttons work well in Youtube etc. Dont work in cubasis though - so if you figure a way let me know LOL
Getting extended monitor support working flawlessly through a hub could be tricky though. When I've reserached the topic 6 months ago the verdict was to use a Monitor with a built in TB4 hub like the Samsung Viewfinity S9 (5k), S8 (4k) or Apples newer displays.
Back then, 4k monitors like the Samsung S8 had to run in 1440p mode to get the option in settings for a more spacious view.
I'm curious about if anything has changed, if you can get extended desktop to work with the hub/adapter you bought (the option that gives you a desktop like view and not just a upscaled iPad window).
