12.9 inch iPad Air 2024 Display Enquiry

Hi all,
I’m just enquiring to find out if anyone has bought the new 12.9 inch iPad Air M2 and whether there are any limitations when using Cubasis 3 and AUv3 apps? Does everything fit the full size screen?

Comments

  • Interesting, I didn't know that Cubasis has AUv3 limitations on smaller displays. I assume that the content of some AUv3 is not fully visible or scrollable there... am I right?

I’m sorry, I must have sounded confusing, no there are no limitations in Cubasis, but I have read that when the 12.9 inch iPad Pro came out a few years ago, some users complained that apps did not utilise the full screen size, I was just asking to see if this was still the case.

Thank you for your clarification and no need to apologize. I'm not good enough at English so there is a high probability that I just didn't get it at first glance :)

  • I suspect there will always be screen problems from developers that haven't on top of it, when Apple brings out a new screen size (number of pixels x and y). See this thread for example.
