Is there a list anywhere or an easy way of discovering which apps also work on iPhone…
.. or do you have to trawl your way through the AppStore to find out?I have a lot of apps and I’d like to know which (effects in particular) will function on iPhones.

Devs I know whose apps work on iPhone - ToneBoosters, FAC, 4Pockets, Baby Audio, BramBos, Blamsoft, DDMF, and I'm trying to think of others but this is off the top of my head.
Oh yeah Caelum Audio as well!

He's looking for effects apps that work on iPhone, not in Live for Mac.
Anyways, back to the actual topic. AudioThing also make apps that work on iPhone, both instruments and effects. A handful of Klevgrand's apps also work on iPhone, and simply looking up Klevgrand in the appstore on your iPhone will reveal what is available. It sucks more of their apps don't work on iPhone though, but at least Grand Finale 2 works! So does Brusfri for that matter.
One effect I can't do without is Youlean's loudness meter. It has an IAP to unlock the graphs, but you can still monitor the LuFS levels for free without needing to purchase any IAPs.
Edit: And Bleass! Oof, I can't believe I forgot about Bleass. 😂
oops
Edit: Don't want to detract from the thread.
Thanks for the replies - very helpful 👍
I have amended the title to help avoid confusion. I actually thought that ‘universal’ meant iPad & iPhone only 😀 sorry about that.
I used to think "universal" meant between iPhone and iPad too, so no worries mate. Hopefully what was listed above helps give you an idea. If I think of any other fx apps that work on iPhone, I'll be sure to post here.
A few other companies that have effects that work on iphone not mentioned yet:
Hope you find what you're looking for! Lots to choose from 😵💫
Just search JWM's post history
😂🤣 Pretty much facts there. Being an iPhone producer, I know pretty much what there is and what I like.
