This is nice, you can use Pencil Pro barrel roll to fine-tune Logic parameters
Found this one purely by accident, but if you place the pencil tip on a knob or fader (or value field) you can use the new barrel roll function to move that parameter in very fine increments. Makes dialing in precise values a snap. Neat.
Shame we can’t squeeze to pull up the arrange tool options.

I just got the new Apple Pencil usb c since they are only 72$ on amazon. Make’s for a major improvement on mirack and logic controls… as well as all apps!
Great discovery man can’t wait to test this out!
Unfortunately only the new Pencil Pro has the barrel roll function, it’s not in earlier Pencils.
Ahh yeah this one’s missing some of the dope features, even tho it came out 6 months ago… but thats why its 70 instead of 130 🤣
Yes I was hoping this would be implemented on the Pencil Pro.
Pencil Pro is only compatible with iPad Air M2 and iPad Pro M4 devices. No luck for those with an archaic iPad Pro M2.
Exactly, this seems like a very obvious function it should support.
…now if only they’d introduce a wrapper for the IAAs
👍
Im not getting this behavior from the barrel roll (on the Pencil Pro/M4 pro). Not seeing an option in the app settings anywhere.
Odd, I can’t get it to work in the new version of Logic either now.
