iCloud advice for apps needed.
My last iPad, I never got enough storage and what I had was filled up quickly, so I pretty much took no notice of it.
Since getting my new iPad Air late last year, I’ve made a large number of projects, files etc and decided I better be safe now and back up my iPad, so I updated my iCloud to 200gb thinking I could at least get a backup now and again, as long as I don’t load my iPad up too much.
Taking more notice of the iCloud Drive tab in the files app, I noticed that the only new app to show in that tab is from Logic - none of my other apps on this iPad show their. The only apps showing are some old apps from my last iPad.
I’ve checked under settings that all my apps are ticked to be synced, but only a few apps are showing as being synced. I thought apps like AudioShare would be there with all my files saved in the cloud.
I have done a save, or so I think but it only shows a 66gb, so is that compressed. I will have to try to save again, as it seemed to be going ok then the progress bar froze for hours, so it’s probably not even saved properly.
Why is tech such a pain at times.
