KQ Dixie audio bug

I have updated KQ Dixie to v3.4.1 but since updating I have run into problems with no audio. I then had to delete the app then reinstall it then the audio started working again until I select different patches then the audio cuts off and I’m left with no audio. :(

I am running iPadOS 17.5 on iPad mini 6.

  • I think I know what’s causing the no sound issue on KQ Dixie.

I deleted the app and reinstalled it again and went through all the Sysex banks and everything works fine with sound. However when I go into the default.dxpf bank that’s when the issue starts with getting no sound and I have to reinstall the app.

I am surprised no one else is getting that issue considering the lack of replies I’m getting.

This is definitely a bug with the default.dxpf bank being the culprit.

    Have you emailed the developer?

I also noticed this, already send a e-mail to the developer.

  • OMG! The bug isn't fixed. I will release further updates.

  • I thought I had figured out what the issue was; since last update, the “pan” and “volume” knobs were all the way down in the controller panel. I turn these back up and I have sound….
But maybe this is different to other people’s problems?

It works now :) . Thanks!

  • Good to see it fixed as KQ Dixie is my favourite FM synth on iPadOS and iOS and I use it a lot.
