    Thanks 😇

  • Fascinating. Imagine the expression on Edgar Varese’s face if he could have seen this video.

  • That looks like fun! How much does one of those cost? What else is needed to hook up to an iPad? My wife would have a meltdown, but I’ll take her out for dinner and she’ll get over it.

one is sampler (16 stereo tracks) - Digitakt2 - costs around 1000€ - other is 4 track (8voices poly) FM synth (Digitone) and costs around 800€ ..

You can connect them with iPad using USB, the. tehy work also as soundcard for iPad and you can midi sync them with all other stuff you run in your favourite daw/host app on iPad in case it supporrs midi ..

I had to google this guy, never heard about him .. Yeah this always boggles my mind - what would do those fathers and mothers (like Delia Derbyshire) of electronic music with modern music gear and apps … a pity we can’t sent it to them back using time machine :-))) They would be pretty shocked that things which took them hours to do we can now do with blink of eye ..

What a great thing to live in these times of unlimited posibilities !! Only own imagination is the limit…

  • @dendy Varese was Zappa’s inspiration when he discovered his record as a boy.

  • I’ll never understand how all this knob twiddling and button pressing works but the end result is infectious (in a good way) 👍

    Thanks :-)

It’s all about timing.. i havw prepared pattern where i have full all avaioablr tracks.. almost everything is muted.. then i jist unmute / mute various tracks and tweak pramwters on playing tracks to add some movemwnt to sound - so that way i build struxture from beginning to end.. my goal is always to get music from
somewhere, through some path, into some destination.. i look at it like at telling the story..
