One Loop Playing  Per  Color (including on Second Tap !)

when doing a second tap, is there a way to just keep 1 instance, of a clip colour playing ?
When set to "solo" a "Second tap" unmutes other loops.
I want the section to just restart from beginning with a second tap (eg singer late coming in) & remain solo'd

It sounds like you set a gesture to toggle solo. Change the actio to solo rather than toggle. Also set the option to re-trigger if already playing.

  • Hello, help needed please. I’ve been trying to create a template that mimics the launchpad app, I just don’t understand the options and what they mean.
I’d love to only allow one clip of any colour to play at any time. You tap a clip to start it, and that tells the other clip that is playing it is time to stop.
I don’t know if this is the same as what @wim describes above, I’ve using been using Loopy pro since it came out so I’m still getting to grips with it.

  • Oops. Sorry, it was @espiegel123 who offered the solution. My apologies to both.

Are you going to be using touch or MIDI?

There are two general approaches. The solo clip action can be set to have a color context and you can create a group for each color and set the group to be one-at-a-time. Take a look at: https://wiki.loopypro.com/Tips_And_Tricks_(Assorted)#One_Loop_Playing_Per_Color

If that doesn't provide the information you need, please let me know.

  • @espiegel123 that is a great help, and it has allowed me to look at the follow concept differently. Little penny drop moment. Thank you.
