Can somone tell me what this means.

I don't know much about Catalyst but it is basically something devs can use to port iOS apps to Mac.

So this means Rymdigare will work on any relatively recent Mac running macOS Catalina or later, whether Intel or Silicon. Not sure why it says 'adding support' rather than 'added support', though?

  • Download from AppStore last night and tried with my M1 MacBook Air real quick.

Works like a charm inside Live 12 and giving RingsFX that lovely reverb only Rymdigare can do.
I hope that he also update tardigrain

Really happy to have my favourite reverb on my desktop as well.

Erik Sigth FTW!!! (as my kids say) <3

  • Ok. Thanks @H34rtc0r3 and @Gavinski
    This is really good news.
Rymdigare is one of the fx that I would really miss if i buy a Mac 😊

  • It’s still not universal, like the Moog, Mela, Ryo Togawa, recent FAC, and Ryan Robinson apps. I mean, Rymdigare does not work on Intel-based Macs.

Does even Logic Pro v11 works on Intel Macs?
Hav’nt checked that, I’m on Apple Silicon Macbook Pro 16”…

Everything works just fine, except ChromaGlow and the stem splitter. I don’t need those tools at all because I’m using Saturn 2 and RX.

  • Seems like that Logic Pro X 11 having truble verifing Rymdigare.
But works as usual when you force the plugin manager to validate the plug-in (and then restart Logic)

With auv3 AppStore plugins on the Mac I find that it is usually best if you open the standalone app before launching Logic for the first time. I’ve had plugins fail to validate completely until they’re launched standalone. You only need to launch the standalone the first time.

  • Pretty cool that they’ve made it work on Macs now too. I find it much easier to have no self control when it comes to buying plugins that work on iPhone, iPad and Mac. FAC is now doing the same too — which is bad for my bank balance.

Works on macOS, but fails plugin validation in Logic 11... but, I can't tell if it's strictly because of a minor naming issue where an uppercase letter should be used in the OSType. If you ignore the validation fail, it seems to work fine in Logic. Looks like a very simple fix.

  • This is pretty cool. I have been diving more into Iceworks apps lately since they also should run on mac.

  • ps. I already passed on the Logic 11 validation fail to Eric of Humbletune. He's on it :)

    Cool!
If I was forced to move from my country, my first choise would then be Denmark - lovely country!

    Excuse this Off-Topic in this thread… :#

  • Glad I searched before creating a new thread. Tardigrain is downloadable as well! Looking forward to some MPE goodness with the Push 3 tonight.

I tried Tardigrain in standalone mode on my M1 MacBook Air right now. Works perfect!
What a great start on this week. Now I remember why I even bought a Apple computer :*

The latest version which includes the legacy plug-in to allow previous projects to load Rymdigare throws up an error on Logic on the Mac on every startup which is a bit annoying, as that legacy plug-in fails validation and you can't turn it off in plug-in settings (which is the same for any plug-in that comes as a .app rather than a .component).

In the good old days of not needing to lock your front door when you went out, you'd just be able to pull the old plug-in out of the app bundle.
