WTF happened to Mynth?! 🥺

Went to use it today as an AU and it’s busted the hell up now.

First time using it in a month

  • I was able to load it in AUM iOS 17.2. Seems fine.

  • 17.4.1. Same issue as you in multiple DAWs. Standalone displays properly.

Hi. If Mynth is an IAA (not AUv3), it might work better if you open it stand-alone, then connect the DAW to the already loaded app.

Edit: This is a problem for some older apps. For example, the original Animoog loads with trashed graphics when not opened stand-alone first.

  • Opens fine for me in AUM but it is a bit laggy when playing fast on its own keyboard. When using AUM internal keyboard it worked ok in my brief test. You can contact the dev, I guess, @Fear2Stop

I did at the same time I made this post…and there is already an update now and it’s fixed , although it does look a bit smaller than it did before this happened. In any case I’m glad it’s fixed!

  • There is a creeping tone in this forum that bodes ill for the iOs platform as a whole.

An alleged bug is fixed in a day, but the hysterical topic heading remains completely hysterical.

Old folks and you who are old at heart; czlm the fzck down. You shouldn’t be creaking out over a ten dollar app not working for a split-second in time. The world can wait for your masterwork. And wait it will, I’m quite sure of that.

  • Impatience is not usually considered the special province of The Old.

You are the one who is being hysterical. Also, ageism is not OK.

I agree, and it's condescending people such as yourself who bring the vibe of the forum down.

No need to be a prick about it. The topic title stayed the same because I have a full time job in addition to being a musician. I don’t post here nearly as much these days. And if it was an “alleged “ bug (which it wasn’t; it was confirmed ), does that mean the fix was alleged as well? Perhaps the update never happened and it was a figment of our collective imagination. This is some Inception-level bullshit right here

And for the record, I’m 46… not the oldest nor the youngest here. I don’t know who shit in your breakfast , but chill out
