Stupid DrumJam question

edited October 2014 in General App Discussion

Didn't DrumJam just get an update recently? At any rate, I had it & GB fired up in AB ready to chase after a muse... and when I play the rhythm there's a synth whistle melody playing over the top of the drums & I need it to go away - I just can't find the controls that do that! I've never heard music playing with DJ rhythms before... help?

  • Close all background apps and see if it's still happening. If not, reopen only what you need and try it again.

  • Disable midi in between GB and Drumjam?

  • I'm not sure what I did - between swiping dead all apps running & something else I don't recall - but it went away (swiping dead didn't work before, though) and it is behaving. Still curious as to what that music was...

  • Boone51 was probably on to something. Check the midi Prefs in DJ and make sure you weren't sending Note Out anywhere.

  • Well, I discovered something interesting about this issue - there is a sequence in Argon Synth (I don't remember creating it) that has that whistle synth melody I heard in sync with the DrumJam beats... weird. I can't recall if I had been playing around with Argon during that period of app-using, if that could have helped cause it.
