Where do I put my LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI??
My Axe and Rig: Acoustic violin with an LR Baggs piezo pickup. I run that into a Zoom U44 Audio Interface and then into my iPad (use Loopy Pro) ... and then the modified sound, (the instrument + effects from Loopy).... always get pushed to a PA System.
The level to the PA System is always weak.
SO: Can I use my LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI? If so, where in the chain?
Thanks!!

How are you connecting to the PA? Through an output on the Zoom U44?
If your level in Loopy Pro is strong, that should be good enough.
The DI goes between your instrument and the interface. What are the levels like on thd output meters in Loopy? If those levels are decent and the output level is turned up on your Zoom , you probably need to fiddle with the PA. A decent PA should have no problem if you have connected things properly. Ideally, you want a signal of 0db on Loopy’s meter to register 0 db on the Zoom and OdB on the PA input channel if it is set to unity gain.
The issue could be configuration of the PA.
@espiegel123 Thank you!
@uncledave Yes, I connect the Zoom out to the PA, but the level is still weak, below 0db.
This could be an impedance mismatch. Can you connect to a Line input on the PA, or are you restricted to a Mic input? Could you switch the PA input to Hi-Z?
Does this happen with all the PAs you encounter, or are some worse than others?
