    Nice job (as always)
You didn’t hear the hook in a dream, did you?
Legend has it Paul got the inspiration for yesterday in a dream, and he went on for weeks running it by his friends cause he wasn’t sure he was subconsciously plagiarizing something he heard and wanted to make sure it was original

OK, I had a really weird dream last night, unlike any I've had before, probably influenced by having read this post recently.

I dreamed I was at a Jeff Beck concert. It was younger Jeff Beck, back in the 70s, and he starts playing one of my songs! And it's a song that I'm still working on that isn't even finished or released. And I'm freaking out thinking, "OMG, I must have plagiarized this song from Jeff Beck!" And it's not even a Jeff Beck-like song. Nothing like anything you would ever hear him play.. I was so happy to wake up and find out it was just a stupid dream. Who knows why Jeff Beck... So random.

Great track! Great lyrics! Great voice (is it yours?)…

Hav’nt read the thread, but for me it sounds like little Motown feeling, a touch of Billy Joel, and, tiny feeling of Bosstones…

    Impressed!

    Thanks so much! <3

You should write a song about this.

  • I had to google what Jeff Beck was, but hey I’m not judging

  • have anyone of of you ever had lucid dreams, like you realize you’re dreaming and can dream up whatever you want?

One of my top favorite rock guitarists of all time. Funnily enough, the song in the dream has NO GUITAR in it!

This was not lucid dreaming. But I have paid close attention to my dreams for years, and have tried to train myself to wake up and remember music when it comes to me in dreams.
