Koala—MIDI can record pads (Update: ApeMatrix issue)
(UPDATE: it appears to be an ApeMatrix issue. All works as expected in AUM.) I’d like to trigger midi record to pads via notes. I’m using ApeMatrix, and all works as expected when using the built-in keyboard: first instance records (hold to record is on), subsequent instances play back.
However, if I’m routing the note data from another app—specifically, Patterning 3, but others as well—record is not triggered. If the pad has audio, the app will trigger the pad as expected.
Any insights on this are appreciated.
