I don't understand. The video works just fine here.
Perhaps it has to do with your region, or more likely privacy measures.
Or are you saying that it works embedded but you'd prefer it not to?
Just click on the“youtube“ button and it opens in a new tab. Not an option? I prefer it the way it is.
Yes, this is what I do.
The video creator can decide whether or not videos are embeddable in the settings for the video itself. Generally when they do that they're roundly criticized here (not by me).
If they don't then it's just one more click for anyone who prefers to watch on Youtube.

Maybe there's a clue how to do it there?
One major benefit I've noticed of embedded videos is that ads are filtered. Not sure why, not limited to any one forum, but it's easy enough to demonstrate if you doubt me.

Though my conscience usually prods me go to Youtube to sit through the ad for the benefit of the content creator.
