Attention dRambonauts
when releasing a preset on Patchstorage or platform of choice
please make sure that you do not infringe upon brand names
and at the very least mention the instrument or app that inspired
your patch if it were inspired by an app or instrument.
The dev and designer in this thread settled quite amicably however
some of the comments did highlight what could be a serious issue for some.

I don’t know why people are making a big deal out of this. Sure the naming and timing weren’t the best, and I could do with less heart emojis.
But they are using drambo for what it was meant for. What, now everyone should go to patchstorage and make it clear what the inspiration was? Be careful not to name it anything resembling the original product?
That just sounds absurd to me.
But please don’t thank me for my kind words and put a heart emoji
The dev was truly elegant in how he responded, so perhaps leave it to him to complain (which he hasn’t)
@pedro Agreed.
Both the dev and the drambonaut dealt with the issue quite nicely.
This isn't a complaint at all it's a heads up
so that the dev's and fellow dRambonauts
don't have to go through the same thing again.
I don't think there's anything wrong with erring on the side of gentlemanly care and respect to avoid misunderstandings and potential negative feelings, and I think it's good on @Gravitas to help make sure our community has good vibes and that enthusiasm for creation is paired with communal awareness and bonhomie.
It costs nothing to add a few words of attribution for a dev or to take an extra moment to reflect on whether the name of a patchstorage creation might lead to unintended hurt feelings. I don't think people need to worry about big brands like Korg or Arturia, but iOS music is truly a small world that benefits greatly from small devs who work hard to share their creativity with us, and I think it's great when we all take a little extra care to steward this great community.
Ahhahahhahaha
Hahahahaha
(Nomination for Luxthor - meme of the year, also nominating for meme of the forum lol)
Ha! Classic!
When a dRambo fan like me needs to make a gif similar to this one. 😳
Lol good one. Good show too
