What apps would you like more sound packs for?
I spend a fair amount of time designing synth patches and I’m curious what apps you’d be interested in buying sound packs for and specifically what kind of sounds (natural sounding, darkwave, edm, industrial, keyboard type patches or evolving arp sounds). Also id keep them relatively cheap $2-3. What price and amount of patches do you think is fair? Or is this something you’d rather just go to free community made stuff for?
Thanks for your input!

$2-3 per pack is reasonable I'd say, especially since you're taking the time to create the patches.
Regarding types of sounds, all of the above.
Apps...FRMS, DRC, and Tera Pro would be my picks.
Believe it or not, more patches for GarageBand and Logic Pro using their their own instruments might address a far larger, relatively untouched market.
A good idea.
Yeah, great idea. Do you work for Apple? You can’t simply make presets for the synths inside GarageBand and Logic Pro for iPad and sell them on a website without permission from Apple. The only thing that can be done is making (self recorded, non copyrighted, unique, interesting) samples and sell them as a pack for use with one of the available samplers in Logic Pro for iPad.
I’d be interested to read Apple’s documentation supporting this claim. Do you have a link to your source?
I will look it up and post the link.
Thanks.
My apologies, I’ve mixed the two up. For selling samples you need to clear them (costs a lot of money) first, not presets. My bad 😬
It’s OK. That’s why I requested a source. I’ve made plenty of mistakes here, so I’m not mad. 😂
I would def love to get Logic Pro for iPad presets. BLEASS alpha and Zeeon also. I like piano and string and brass sounds.
Nambu
Lagrange
Zeeon
Mood
Continua
Just to name a few…
Flowtones
FRMS
Buzz Zone
Mariana
Himda
Butter synth
Those are my most used synths right now that id like to see more presets on
Arps, bass, cinematic stuff
Buzz Zone, Zeeon, Nambu - great synths, they deserve much more patch banks than rhey have now
oh, i can’t imagine that pain and suffering while
making a serious sound design within iPad LPX stock synths ☠️ Personally, would peobably end with suicide 🤣😂
Make sure you pick instruments with batch export and import - otherwise dealing with 3rd party preset packs is such a hassle. I would strongly encourage all users to badger the heck out of devs who have not implemented good batch import and export systems where needed. Lack of them is extremely inconvenient!
There are a lot of free presets for Zeeon, I have almost 900 installed. Just search for them in the forum.
Why the hell do you feel the need to be aggressively snarky, rude, and sarcastic with me? Do you get your rocks off to that?
I’d always be interested in content for Tera pro, Nambu, Buttersynth, Factory, Aparillo
I’m very comfy designing sounds in those synths (well except for Nambu ) but i love to see how others go about it, reverse engineer their patches and learn some new techniques
Yep, Nambu for sure. I find 99% of presets to be dull and uninspiring to be honest.
More weird sounds! Sounds like water. Or wood. There’s millions and millions of pads and brass and bass sounds out there ( and that’s not a dig at those who do want these sounds)
I like things that don’t sound like synths…
Aah ok.. i don’t need presets, i just saw relatively small amount of bundled presets … in that case it’s like bringing more wood into forest 🤣
