OT: need some help with Stage Manager....

Sorry for the OT ask here, but there are some pretty smart iOS folk here, so thought I'd try...

Got the external monitor connected via USB-C, and the screen is visible on the monitor, however all I get on the monitor is the dock (with apps pasted there) and a blank desktop....when I tap an app icon on the ipad, it opens fine but is not displayed on the external monitor, it (the monitor) stays fixed on the iPad desktop (no app icons) and the dock.

What am I doing wrong?

In the Stage Manager mode, iPad desktop is the primary screen and external screen is a working surfaces.

When you start an app, press on the three dots on top of the app you wish to run on the external screen, choose there ”move to screen”…
You can also just grab the app window and drag it to the right edge of the iPad screen and it will jump over to the external screen.

The advantage of running in Stage Manager Mode is that you can, as an example, run Logic Pro for iPad in full view, typically 16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio, but, if you run in Mirror Mode the external screen will have black borders on left and right side…

So, pretty nice to run some Pro apps on iPad in bigger view, especially full view 16:9…

Would be nice to test if it is support for for 21:9 ultra wide screens!

    Good luck!
