This is WAY cool. Seems like its in a similar vein to the Blockhead Daw being developed. I started in ableton just dropping stuff in the timeline and arranging off grid, and that for me was a very creative workflow that I have not been able to get back to. Being able to trigger Walls (sequences of bricks) via midi is a nice touch. The app is a little nonresponsive sometimes with things like dragging samples in to the track. There is a typo in the Wall menu. I hope this gets continued development.
Being able to add some slices from the sample, play them in via midi, but then have them exist as bricks would be a great addition.

Well this is a funky Friday surprise, any one know what the iap unlocks? It seems very complete/nothing grayed out etc…
Slick UI, nice app!
Drag and drop works from Files, but not from a Flexi sampler inside Drambo, even though the green + icon appears. I wonder why that is?
@Krupa the Store inside the app just mentions "iap to get free updates and support further development". Perhaps all features have been generously made available? There are some popups to unlock now and then.
50% off intro pricing. One of my favourite devs. Always aesthetically pleasing. The way it flips from portrait to landscape on a phone is class
Someone make a video lolz
How’s the time stretch algo
@gregsmith time stretch is pretty basic but sounds usable. You can control the size of the grains used for time stretch.
I’d qualify as lofi - in a good way.
I played with this a bit yesterday in Dawnbeat before deciding to pick up the standalone (I didn’t realize Dawnbeat isn’t auv3). It’s pretty easy to use and sounds cool.
I bought it cause on paper it reminds me of how I like to use Drambo with Flexi 2.0 and a slightly modified 4 breaks patch. I used it stand alone for now.
I found it hard to use, but I can be dense. I read the user guide which is good, and it’s actually pretty straightforward. But I need to finish. The tempo and size setting are extremely fiddly, but the “wall duration from selected BRIIK” is a quick set.
I’ve gotta say that the extended phantom lines from the center knob positions while changing filter, ect. are so welcome on a small phone screen. I want to cry. It is a thing of beauty and function. 😢❤️
I imagine that this is welcome on any screen size. I don’t recall seeing this on any other app.
