Lot of dissonance with the piano. Interesting piece.
You know you are an iOS music app addict when someone lists off 10 different apps and you know exactly which one made which sounds just by names. 😄
And quite a cool collection of sounds in this. It almost feels like descending into ocean depths, the further and deeper you go, the more the dissonance adds to the mysterious nature of it.
Hi Joseph. The idea for this comes from an article on brain waves. It was mostly over my head but it was a good read. In addition to the 4 or 5 standard types, there are others. For lack of a better word, I called them undocumented waves.
“Interesting” is an interesting word. It can have many meanings. There is a Chinese saying… may you live in interesting times. In fact, I just posted a piece called Interesting Times. It got a few plays, but zero comments. I thought that was interesting. I hope that things are going well for you and that you keep on making new music.
Hi Mac. Hope your day is nice. Yesterday we went to a summer festival, drank beer, and played Bingo. She loves Bingo. We spent about 50 bucks and won 15. Oh well, it was a beautiful day with a live band. They played Sweet Caroline and everybody yelled Bah Bah Bah!
I must admit I am a bit of an iOS music addict, but I only remembered which ones I used because I wrote them down in the track notepad this time. I know that a lot of ABF members like to know what was used, so I made a point to write it down. I forgot to include Viking. That’s a great app for bass, and it’s a Viking!
This started out with mostly normal notes. I spent some time going in and putting in some wrong ones. I enjoy that type of music once in a while, but not for more than a few minutes. I’ve been trying to find some new directions recently. Inevitably, some lead to dead ends. I think somebody once said, the journey is the reward. All my best wishes to you and the family!
Nicely different, a definite filmic quality to it 👌
Thanks, Tony. My last few offerings have been rather laidback and ambient. I’m getting in a mood for something crazy fast and needlessly complicated. Wish me luck. Peace, bro.
I am lazily sitting on the couch listening to ABF creation and this one really hit the spot. Very chill.
That’s one of my favorite things to do. In the summer I love to sit in my director’s chair on my patio and watch the neighbors walk their dogs. I’m doing that right now. It’s a beautiful night.
As I was telling @GeoTony, my next one is pretty crazy. It’s rock and roll! It’s called Bombs Away Baby! If you’re chilled and comfy, maybe wait until tomorrow. Have a great night, bro!
Sounds like my kind of evening! I a a metal head at heart, a Little Rock and roll don’t scare me. 😉
You have a great evening too.
That what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger! Posting in a few.
