GX-80 by Cherry Audio - The EPIC Guide for an EPIC Synth - Tutorial & Demo

Hello everybody 👍😊
Here is my tutorial for the Cherry Audio GX-80 synth, a hybrid of two legendary Yamaha Synths, the CS80 and the GX-1.
I think this is the closest to getting the sound of the original synths, remarkable.
In the video I start with a patch I designed to sound very Vangelis, then go through the whole synth in detail and build another very Vangelis like patch.
No samples in this synth, all synthesis, and, of a VST it’s a really low price at $59.00.
I hope you enjoy the video.

  • It's a fantastic desktop synth. I'll watch this one in detail.

I downloaded several of Cherry Audios synths to run in 30-days demo a while ago (no restrictions)…

Unfortunately, although all of them is super great concerning UI and the attempt to reimagine the originals, I never come to a point there I was impressed with the sound of them…

Them sound really good, but, in comparison with Synthmaster 2, FF Twin3, Moogs all software synths, many of Korgs softsynths etc, Cherry Audios synths never come in pair with them…

But, Cherry Audios products isn’t bad, but, perhaps there’s a reason they are cheap compare to other great softsynths on Mac and Windows…
