Sweet! Everything flows together beautifully.
Thanks, I love doing these sets out in the woods.
Thanks for sharing a really good performance . The op-z is so underrated (also Terrible QC but it looks like your unit is holding up well even on a log) and this shows why it’s maybe my favorite piece of gear: it’s so powerful compact and complete.
Do you like the KO II?
I didn’t get the KOII, it seemed redundant to me with the OP-Z which has a much more powerful sequencer.
Weird little machine. No idea how it works, but that sounds absolutely great.
Gotta try one to appreciate how absolutely singular it is .
((Ps why is the sequencer more powerful ? The way I understood KO II can sequence 99 bars, with 9 sounds per pad, including midi out over usb and midi out over type a simultaneously, sequencing two external hardware( + its own 4 tracks). If the op-z does that stuff I will get the line module for sure , but idk if it does??))
The Step Components and the intelligent melody and harmony tools really take it to the next level, I don't think the KO has those. I was mainly referring to internal sequencing though, no idea how either handles external gear.
For sure - internal sequencing with step components and step trigs make it so amazing and unique . I love the op-z
Cool little gadget! I’ve seen a few other members using it. I love when those big bass drums come in. This looks like an entirely new location. I wouldn’t expect to see ants in that other place. We have Cicadas here. Like you, I also love to be mobile. Something I couldn’t do with a lot of gear. One of my favorites was while cruising down the Mississippi on Riverboat Twilight. Happy music making!
I’m sure I saw Adam Ant in there somewhere… no idea what you were doing on that little box of tricks or how you knew what sounds were going to come out of it but the end result was very enjoyable 👌
Thanks very much! It’s definitely one of those bits of gear you need to learn your way around on to do something like this. Not every day you get to play a live set on your tv remote though! 😆
I like to jam out in nature too! There is this a look out by the river close to where I live. I bring my iPad and headphone on a beautiful day.
Those drum and bass really kick.
I’m fortunate to have so many places near me that are scenic and quiet enough to get some music making done. Being outdoors definitely brings a different vibe to things for me.
