Softer tips for Apple Pencil?
Anyone have any recommendations for a softer tip replacement for the Apple Pencil? I’ve been using some little rubber tip covers that work ok, but would love something a bit more permanent. I’m not into drawing or anything fancy, just want to reduce the constant tap tap tap noises when editing in Logic Pro.
Thanks.

Hmmm, I had one of these micro fibre mesh tip pens which worked great as a finger replacement.

Not as fine as the pencil but not as stubby as a finger.
So maybe these?

Thanks, but really trying to stick with the Pencil Pro as I’m used to the barrel rotate now. Sadly the second link is also just pencil tip covers, and not replacement tips.
Yah they are just covers, but I wager a lot more durable than the rubber tips you tried. I used a micro fibre tip and it lasted a looong time, never wore out actually and I would have burned through a half dozen rubber tips in that time.
Ps. Barrel rotate?
I buy some “soft tips” on Amazon. They are replacements on the Apple Pencil 2 and less than 15 bucks. They don’t last very long though.
The cork ones on Etsy that I got from a seller in Germany are the best I’ve tried…

Have you tried instead getting a transparent cover for your screen, made especially for Pencil? For example, PaperLike: https://paperlike.com/products/paperlike-for-ipad
My issue isn’t with the covers wearing off, it’s that it’s really easy to lose them in a bag. I’ve tried 4 different ones and they all slide off pretty easy.
New Pencil Pro functionality, works great for fine tuning parameters in say Logic.
Link?
Thanks, but not interested in something like that. My wife has the paper like ones and they mess up the contrast of the screen a lot. Since I do a LOT of B&W photo editing on the iPad I need that contrast to en accurate. Thanks though!
No need for a link. There is plenty of them and actually most are the same with different branding. I usually pick the ones with good ratings that are on sale.
Ahh gotcha, never had that issue while commuting. I did put my pencil in a small tooth brush holder which may have helped.
