PINK noise generator AU3?

Yes you guessed it - for mixing with pink noise technique.

Are there any apps that can be AU3 and generate pink noise? I looked in the app store and searched here but did not really find much.

Thank you in advance foir replying if you can help me.

Yes! AUGenX can do that and a lot more too https://apps.apple.com/app/augen-x/id1439844878

  • @Gavinski thats it! thank you, just what I was searching for. Thank you for replying :)

  • The Squinky Labs Colors plugin in miRack, set to -3db/oct should give you pink noise, I think.

  • Drambo's noise generator also has pink noise.

  • @wim thanks for the suggestions. I feel that Drambo has everything?

  • Icegear's Redshrike has Pink, White, Blue, Pitched, Digital and Glitch noise. Useful to know but Drambo, Augen and miRack would be my preferences for this case

    • 1 Redshrike’s noise options are nice! That and the IceGear Arp, lends itself to fantastic percussive sounds

Oh cool. I hadn’t knownt this since i don’t use that module. I thought it was meant for helping insomniacs. Mixing against pink noise isn’t new to me, I just didn’t realize I have the tools already. Cooler still, is that I already use TB Equalizer to aid me with AI assist, which is more of a visual aid. But now, I can place the pink noise followed by an amp before TB EQ, enable AI assist > pink noise option, so that I may use the amp to calibrate the pink noise volume.
    Visual and audio aid. Yaye!

I’ve just spent half an hour going through a few of the dozens of synths on my iPad, and found the following before I got bored and gave up! I hope you may already have one of these. You get the idea though?

Moog Model D has a pink / white noise switch in the mixer section.
Fabfilter Twin 3 has pink / white noise waveform selections in its oscillators.
Tera Pro has pink / white noise generators.
Yonac Trooper has a rotary white / pink noise adjustment on Osc 1.
Yonac Kauldron has switchable white / pink noise.
ODYSSEi has a white / pink noise switch in the top right corner.

Edit:- The last one isn’t AUv3 (yet, but we can hope 😉)

  • Awesome options here. Thanks to all that replied, very much appreciated your time :)
