  • I don’t think I could possibly get tired of listening to your piano and bass pieces. I sure you could make beautiful music on a kazoo, but there is something special about that pairing and your playing.

  • Beautiful and supremely lyrical playing.

  • Incredible. Bill Evans world be proud. Nicely done.

  • I know the truth. @LinearLineman is actually 265 different persons working under the same alias.
I’m a huge fan of you piano solo pieces. I can deal with the bass here, but I’m not sure it is needed. I personally could live without it.

  • Thanks @MadeofWax @richardyot @reezygle. Very kind of you all. lol @jo92346 stuck with an iPad and a zillion apps and I have to just play the piano. Oh, cruel world! Have a good weekend, bro. Hope you’re feeling better physically.

  • I love that you can wear so many hats when you sit at the piano. I guess we all try to channel our different influences, but you are so good at pulling them out individually and creating some great music.

  • I’m hearing “Once Upon A Summertime” sung by Betty Carter. I would love to hear you hook up with a really good singer.

  • You make me wish I’d never given up piano lessons as a kid.

  • Another great piece. Love your extended voicings.

. ( I echo Klownshed sentiment when he said I wish I didn’t give up piano lessons - stupid electric guitar smh lol )

I didn’t give up. Wasn’t offered that option. But I devised so many plans to deal with my first 4 teachers and how to get rid of the bodies. I had a severe crush on the 5th and last, which in the end made things much more pleasant.

  • LL, you are the jazzmaster, wonderful playing, enjoyed it very very much!

Thx @michael_m i didn’t set out to play like Evans and not quite sure I did. It just suggested itself to me afterwards. Monk I can conjure, however.
Thanks @Paulieworld i generally stray too much for most singer’s. Not a good accompanist.
Glad you liked it @Frenq abd thx for the praise!
@Klownshed. When I was 10, after a yr of lessons, my teacher, Mr. Lisa t I, told my mom “Mrs. Levy, you’re wasting your money on Michael”. My mom begged him to continue. Fortunately, he got cancer and went back to Italy to die. It can go either way.

Thank you @yellow_eyez i mentioned to @Dav that often I get the chords by trying different shapes with my hands, often works out well. Have a sweet Sunday, Chris.

That’s such a big deal though - a piano teacher who listens and understands what you want from the piano makes all the difference. A piano teacher who just forces fixed lessons on you should be disposed of quickly.
