Loopy HD is a no-brainer at the current sale price.
Depends what you have already and what you want to do.
Of those apps my personal favourite is Sector. But it's quite specialist. I've probably got the most use out of BM2 though.
BM2 is amazing if you want a DAW type app.
Etc etc. They are all great apps. It really depends what you want / need.
I really don't know should I hang on for a sale that I really want?
They're all great apps, so you can't go wrong IMO. But only you know what you want/need and what your financial situation is. It is unlikely you will find Loopy HD, Caustic, or BM2 at a lower price.
I have heard a lot of people now I mean a lot of people who swear by bm2. I think I'll turn to the youtubes for help and if I get bm2 are the sample packs necessary
I say no on the sample packs, but BM2 is a big app by itself and the included samples can't be deleted unless you're jailbroken. I can save you a bit of searching though: http://forum.audiob.us/discussion/comment/72499#Comment_72499
Thanks
Plenty of people love BM2, plenty don't. To me, the interface is annoying and unintuitive.
ThumbJam is always the #1 choice.
Glad you remembered me makes me feel good that I'm being noticed on here and not just ignored and that song is awesome simple but awesome.
If you could buy loopy hd and one of the other... If not... I'd go with thumbjam. I cannot understand why is bm2 on that list being a daw. Do you need a daw? - I just needed the chop feature and the drum machine itself to throw my sounds in and map at will, when I bought it. - But so is loopy
I got loopy and thumbjam they are great
Great! I'm going to confess something now. The best apps I have, the ones I use the most, I didn't like them at first sight. (With loopy more than thumbjam. It was my first contact with loops and it took a while) But with time (and a bit of work) they open up to me. Every day I can find new things to do with them. To me these are the truly good apps. The best software. It will help me go further.
Check out the in-app tutorials in loopy, by the way.
What @Macao95 said. 100% same here Loopy again and again from day one. I got TJ only few months ago and it's still surprising.
You could make a whole record with Loopy and TJ, nice score.
Look forward to hearing what you make of them...
