Trippin 2.0 (Instrumental)
@richardyot suggested that this might sound good as an instrumental piece. I muted the vocals and added Mitosynth, King of Digital, Sunrizer, and Jubal Flute. Any thoughts?

Sounds good as an instrumental. Turns out Richard knows what he’s talking about
There’s a lot going on in the vocal range such that I don’t think a vocal is required. I deliberately haven’t listened to the vocal version before commenting on this one though. I think the bell arps for example would get in the way of vocals but work nicely as an instrumental.
Yeah I much prefer this version. Beautiful.
I think I like it too. I still like the vocals, but this is more like a whole new song. Thanks for your input!
I think I probably could have spent a bit more time and picked some better sounds, but I just got in the mood to give it a try. Thanks for commenting.
Much preferred this to the vocal version, glad you took the time to try it out and post it 👍
Thanks, Tony. It seems to be getting a lot more listens. I keep thinking vocal tracks will appeal to a wider audience. Maybe I should not think about that and so much just do what I want. Have a good one!
Nice. Mitosynth has some good sounds. I prefer this version too.
Didn't listen to the one with vocals, but this is cool. Nice instrumentation for an ethereal, relaxing mood.
King of Tink. Hope you enjoyed the tapas on the 4 th, bro.
I really like Mitosynth. I just rediscovered iWAVESTATION. Both are old school IAA, but have great, useable patches. I do most everything one track at a time, so the limitations of IAA are not really a problem for me. I have to say, I like the vocal version, too. Mostly because of the vocalist, Callmedezz. He has a unique voice that seems to get me thinking of new things. We did a collaboration called I Swear To God that got over 2700 plays! I mostly attribute that to his lyrics and voice. Have a great day!
Thank you, Fernando. I know I must sound like a broken record, but Piano Motifs is, by far, my favorite iOS music app. As you must know by now, I don’t use any keyboards or external gear, so something like PM is a Godsend to me. It never disappoints! Sometimes I have to be patient, but it always delivers for me. I hope you keep developing this forever!
They were great. We took one of Karen’s elderly lady friends with us. She doesn’t get around much and loves to go out with her “younger” friends. We had a few of our favorites, plus a few new things. The bacon wrapped dates in “heaven” sauce were especially tasty. Sadly, we were too early for the Flamenco guitarist. We have heard him before and he is superb. Hope you two had a nice time!
