Greetings from Niten Iwato AKA Drown the Riot or Iwato Hyena
I am a neo-classical composer and sound blotch architect working at iamYork, a boutique Animation and Visual Effects studio which is located in Midtown Manhattan within a neighborhood better known as Hell's Kitchen.
I have been dubbed a Modular Synthesis Cognoscente and fictional fold father overall I work in film/video and sound design professionally though I haven't released an "official" song or album in over 20 years. I have endless synth patches in my library that I slowly have been trying to share with the community but overall the joy of creating audio visual experiences has always been my drug of choice.
I am happy to be here and I would love to hear your music and meet fellow artists, musicians and creatives alike.
Come by and say hello

Hey man!!! Cool stuff in youtube channel!!!
My man! Always interesting stuff you do, and I especially love your art and video output.
‘Sound blotch architect’. I have a new spirit animal.
Thank you... The "Iwato Hyena" channel is kind of new so still a work in progress but "Common Sense Made Simple" or iamYork is where it all began!!! https://www.youtube.com/@iamYork_
I try to keep them both relevant in their own ways. One more audio based and the other more visual but they tend to crossover into each other at times. Just happy people enjoy them
Hahaha, yes, I often find myself simply patching cables and turning knobs until something intriguing emerges. The beauty of working in sound, as opposed to film and animation, lies in this unstructured balance. In sound design, rules can frequently be bent or broken, allowing for a sense of pure joy and boundless experimentation.
Thank you. I always appreciate your kind words. Since i have delved into iOS music production, your guidance has significantly paved the way for me in this realm.
Welcome fellow modular enthusiast! Looking forward to checking out more of your content.
