Riffler AUv3 - is it possible to “play” the inbuilt sounds and bypass the riffs?
In Riffler, using the AUv3 version within a host, is it possible to play the inbuilt sounds on a midi keyboard for example, and bypass the app’s built in riffs?
So many of the inbuilt sounds are excellent.

Comments
At this point, no. Even with the long awaited midi input (should it ever arrive) in the preview video it seemed to convert notes into riffs.
I agree the sounds are very good and usable. I typically output a dry signal to an amp sim but I have used the internal sounds on a few recordings and I think they hold up pretty well.
It seems that the developer has shifted focus to the desktop version. All the recent updates on the official Riffler website have been about the desktop version with no further mention of the iOS version. I’m hoping that once the desktop version is released we will see some updates to the iOS version.
@MadeofWax Thank you. Really what I'm looking for is high quality electric and acoustic guitar samples like we get in the desktop world from the likes of Orange Tree. It seems this is one area where iOS is still lacking.
Pure Synth Platinum has some tweakable options and Pianoteq's classical guitar is OK but it's nowhere near the quality of their pianos. Those apart, I've not found much.
Have you tried steel guitar pro. If you send midi in it forgets about the steel part.

Anyone getting the save preset option to work? It doesn’t do anything on my iPad’s.
That’s a really good shout. I’ve owned steel guitar pro for years, and now I might actually use it! Some of presets sound excellent with MIDI input.
Make sure you get the new auv3 version that came out in June of 2022 @BillS
Thanks, yep I’m up to date. Is it possible for the app to recognise midi messages from a physical sustain pedal? Doesn’t seem to map automatically
So according to THIS thread there are other threads which figure out how to work around the MIDI implementation.

So search the forum I guess.
@BillS - I found a couple
