Floaty Ambient with Binaural Beats

This is my first try to create binaural beats in Drambo. I’m quite happy with it, although it’s relatively random, I didn’t even change the frequency of the binaurals over time or know precisely which frequency is going, it felt right and is probably somewhere in the theta-range.

Does anybody else here care about binaural beats, or has tried making some on iOS? If so how did you go about it?

I used 2 Funcbuds, Factory, DRC, Axon 3, Radio Unit, FAC Alteza, Other Desert Cities and K7D. The binaural beats come from a Drambo-Rack I built.

Headphones recommended.

Don’t know anything about binaural beats… that bit was a little too droney for me but I enjoyed all of the other little touches and fragments of sounds.

  • @GeoTony Thanks for listening and the kind words!

Ok, I guess I should have explained, what binaural beats are, in case people haven't heard of them :)

Technically you put one waveform on each ear and have one a couple of hertz detuned from the other. Theoretically your brain picks up on the difference and produces more brainwaves of that frequency. Theta is 4 to 8 hertz and is supposed to get you into a deep meditative state. They work quite nicely for me.
