Bluetooth devices not useable while Audiobus is open (Solved)

Ahoy! I’m experiencing a very strange and annoying behaviour with Audiobus on my iPad the last few days.

When Audiobus is open, even if it’s running in the background, any connected Bluetooth headphones or speakers are not available for use, system wide. They disappear from the control center and all audio, even from other apps is forced to the built in speakers…

Upon quitting Audiobus, bluetooth functionality returns to normal.

This happens almost always. A couple of times it was working properly, but I don’t know what I did to make it so… I think both times I had a standalone instance of Gadget running with Link enabled, but I couldn’t consistently get that happening.

Anyone have an idea what is going on?

  • Maybe try turning Off Multiroute Audio in Audiobus Settings.

First try! That works, cheers mate.

I’d learnt to avoid that option since the app freezes if I toggle it, but that was the problem.

    Thanks!
