Desert/Southwestern Sounds
Could anyone recommend good libraries for Desert/Southwestern music....Some sound examples would be winds, rattles, flutes, theremins, etc.
Comments
I think recordings of winds and possibly rattles can be found on freesound.org. Just requires a free sign up. Flutes, depends on the flutes you're looking for to be quite honest. You can go the rompler route, and/or you can use BS-16 to play back Soundfonts if you have a collection of those.
For theramin sound, you can probably emulate that with any subtractive synth. Like in Obsidian, choose "mono - glide" for voices and adjust the glide.
Do you perhaps have a Youtube example of what you're trying to recreate?
