Elastic Drums - Bluetooth headphone issue

Hi all

I’ve just installed Elastic Drums, and the sound does not go to my headphones, in standalone or within AUM or Audiobus - any other apps I’m using are outputting to phones, and Elastic is coming out of iPad speakers - any ideas?

Thanks!

That’s what I presumed, but I can’t see that option in ElasticDrums?

    Hello,
You need to first check the audio output settings within Elastic Drums to ensure it's set to output to headphones. Additionally, restart your iPad and headphones, and verify the audio routing settings in AUM or Audiobus if you're using them. Updating all relevant software and checking hardware connections may also help resolve the issue. If problems persist, please share more details about your setup for further assistance.

Some apps just don't support Bluetooth audio. It has to be specifically enabled by the developer.
The workaround is to host in another app such as Audiobus or AUM that supports BT Audio.

  • Yes. I always have to open AUM first (and add a mix bus to a channel) in order to get ED to work with BT headphones.

  • Just an update to say thanks to those that responded, and that I obviously turned everything off and on again the correct number of times, as it’s now working full speed - happy days.👍
