Ruismaker FM and multi out?

I am trying to use Ruismaker FM today and learned the onboard sequencer doesn't work in host mode. So then I hooked it up by GM to Bram Bos Rhythm sequencer. Now how do I get it to send separate outs? I added a RMFM multi output but I can't seem to figure out the outs. Thanks

@Antos3345 In your host, you need to load 6 RuismakerFM multibus AUv3s into separate channels to hear the six drum sounds. The main multibus instance will play the kick, second instance the snare sound etc. In the following screenshot i also marked the default keys to play the sounds (when NOT using GM layout ;-)

These 6 AUv3s share a single Ruismaker plugin instance, ie tapping on any of these nodes will open the same AUv3 window, you also see this in AUMs midi matrix - only the main instance is listed as midi destination.

Thanks so much ! I appreciate your help :)

  • Just to clairify a little, you load the Multiout app in the first AUM channel, then you add "Multi-bus Audio Unit Instances" to the other channels. They are references to the Multiout module already loaded. My example is for Ruismaker, but FM should be similar.

  • Cheers and well explained!
