Torso S-4 sampler (hardware)
I've been drooling over The Torso s-4 sampler for a bit, but have very mixed feelings. It seems it was perhaps rushed to market, and a bunch of features are "coming soon". That has me nervous about their ability to support it. Does anyone here have one yet? I can't help feeling like I could perhaps recreate some of the features/workflow in AUM with a setup that used 4 GAUSS plugins (on individual tracks) each followed by a well-chosen fx chain..... Hmmmmm.... but the GAS is real.
I so want a new sampler.... and my attention flits between the s-4, Sp404 mkII, Digitakt II, and ???
yearning for a piece of (sampling!) gear that inspires now methodologies and could lend itself to a live arsenal.

I almost got the S-4, but instead I have a Tempera on order, have you checked it out?
I used to purchase every new gadget that came out. Now with an iPad I feel like I have pretty much all my bases covered.
@abf i recently heard of the Tempera but have not checked it out. Will check that video tomorrow.
@colorsinspace, to be honest I should probably just buy an updated iPad that can run Logic. Because if it can play any Alchemy patch authored on a desktop then I would be set for sampling needs.Not sure if that is true(alchemy sampler on iPad playing desktop authored patches), but that's what I heard....
