Eventide Undulator not showing up in Cubasis 3 Audio Units

It only appears as Undulator (MIDI) in Cubase 3.6.6. All the other Eventide AUv3 plugins (except Crystal as well now) have both non-MIDI and MIDI options. Have reinstalled, restarted etc. iPad Air 5, iOS 7.5.1.

I don’t recall this behavior… any others? @Orville

MIDI just means that it accepts MIDI to control the effect. It is still an audio plugin.

But it hasn’t always been only the (MIDI) named plugin that’s available. Opening a project now gives an error, saying the original non-MIDI plugin can’t be found. Both versions of Undulator were previously listed, and used. I’ve customized some settings in the previous now non-listed version.

Note this post, the opposite of my situation:

Same here, but it seems the Midi version works fine.
To be honest I don’t know what’s the difference between the midi and the normal version of an audio effect 🤔

The problem being is that it breaks projects already using the now-missing plugin. This was not the case previously. How to contact Eventide about this? @Orville

I have this same problem with Undulator in Logic. All other Eventide plugins are fine except for Undulator.

  • Thanks @espiegel123, I’ve contacted Eventide about this.
