VintageRack sound oddity

It’s obvious that the blank save in VintageRack is reducing the output volume with no fx selected and the output settings as normal. I can increase the output volume, +50 seems about right.
My question is: increasing the output volume in this way seems to be changing the sound in a very small way, maybe that would be expected, but I’m also wondering if it’s just my hearing or that I’m expecting some changes and just hearing what I’m expecting.

What do you think? I find it odd that the blank saves reduce the volume so much, but am I actually hearing a difference when I increase the output volume, or is it just my mind playing tricks?

Will listen with headphones later to check whether the audio actually sounds different. I never understood either btw why blank Vintage Rack reduces the output volume so much btw, seems weird that it does.

Yep, not sure I’ve come across this amount of volume loss in any other app.
