Ableton Note IOS Quick sketch uploads
Spend most my time practising piano or painting so gonna try and make quick 1-hour sketches on Ableton Note for fun.
Made a note today, will try to keep posting and making more notes.
Not going to be highly produced or super loud.

@thatguysmitty thanks on No 1
You make Ableton Note sound much better than the provided “demos”.
thank you boss
Love this idea! I do the same with my Push3S. Really like your sound choices and especially the drum track and No2. Those are perfect ideas to pull into Ableton.
That was a lovely demo, thnx!
Big update coming to the beta next month apparently.
quick note No 3 -
I like it to be louder but not so easy to do quickly in Note but that's why the file goes to the mother ship if worth finishing.

@Gavinski @drez thanks for No 2

beta has arp built-in now
@GeoTony @SinghSong thanks
thanks man, the bass is a stock preset from Ableton note, all the drums are samples.
mmm, just one of the original bass presets i renamed it now though.
no external/processing or mastering (its screen recorded from my iPad), just banged out in Ableton Note iOS so it's a rough idea i made in about an hour.
on this one i wanted to have a more complexed ping pong delay (left/right unlinked) but the note version doesn't allow, I'm gonna ask the team to add this as i feel it would add a lot to design. when i opened the track in Ableton live and change the left/right delay timings the track sounded much better.
Good video, too.
thanks,
you should give that a go too, use iMovie on ipad, pick a YouTube video and convert it to mp4 using a free online converter. Wack it in iMovie and add your own audio.
Very cool. You’ve persuaded me to try Ableton Note again.
thanks! if you don't have the beta, get on that, usually has a few more options than released version.
good trick is to add two effects on the main track (fairly recent new option) so you can add some overall EQ and extra perceived volume.
Quick note No 5 -
layer messed up on video, will fix at some point
presets can be made on Ableton live in beta for drums rack and Drift.
