Seeking Lightweight Plugins for Live Performance on 9th Gen iPad
Hi, I am buying plugins to help me perform live shows. For this, I need plugins that are lightweight and thus consume little processing power from the 9th generation iPad I am using. What are the lightest plugins I can use for this? I am looking for an equalizer, a reverb, a delay, a compressor, and a limiter.

What host will you be using?
It would be great to know HOW they are to be used, in what setting/host? How are you going to use the iPad, as a main instrument, a mixer, just play samples….? Just playing some audio files is a very light chore for a moden iPad.
Just out of my head I’d go for Kymatica or FAC stuff and try them, I find them less resource hungry then others but that’s just me, YMMV.
If you’re going to use a DAW you’re probably best off using the internal FX.

I am using AUM as my DAW. In the project, I will route the microphone sound for mixing and apply audio processing, in addition to using Pianoteq and the Minimood Model D to play on a MIDI keyboard controller.
For this, I need basic mixing plugins that are as lightweight as possible so that everything runs smoothly without sound glitches. Additionally, I would probably add a delay and reverb that I can adjust via the controller knobs during the show. Therefore, I was considering using Yukawa or Other Desert Cities.
Overall, the plugins would be primarily for vocals, as the piano and synthesizer shouldn't require much processing.
AUM has it's own EQs and Limiter. You might give those a try as they should be very lightweight.
The AU3FX plugins from the same developer are well worth a look.
tbh, I don't think you're going to have a lot to worry about given the workload you've described.
AUM= Kymatica. Get the bundle Kymatica’s AU3FX:1-4 which also includes an EQ which might be nice to have with vocals and you’re all set. Mr Liljedahl’s stuff is top notch.
Or use what you already have and try it out!
You going to record the live show and share it with us?😁

I am using a 9th gen iPad as a main live jamming tool for over two years now, and shortage of CPU / DSP has never been a big problem.
I have used it as effects processor - in my case for synth hardware not vocals, sequencer, drum machine, looper and rarely hit the wall in terms of CPU / DSP load. The overload usually only happens at the initial plugin loading stage, when a project is opened.
I would be more concerned about using a proper audio interface that works reliably.
Just in case you want to mute tracks during your performance, then Loopy Pro might be interesting: While in AUM only disabled plugins do not consume CPU, Loopy Pro already drastically reduces CPU for muted tracks.
In terms of plugins I prefer the Bleass plugins. I find their CPU load reasonably low, and they have (for me) very jam friendly and colourful high contrast user interfaces.
