  • I never got it on iOS as I got my first iPad just around the time it became unavailable. I did have the original PC version and the two fx apps they made, back before Apple bought them. I do use Logic on iPad now though, is it the same version that was available back then?

A matter of facts, I’ve got an old iPad Air v2 with iOS 10.33, the last 32-bits version to iPad - I’m very keen to keep this iPad in good shape just to have abilities to run old goodies from the past, like Alchemy Synth…

I also have backed up a lot of apps to iPad thru the years with iMazing app on Mac - I do believe I’ve got around 600 .ipa-files, both 32-bits and 64-bits apps.

As I remember a complete Alchemy on desktop with all soundpacks was around 1000 bucks back in 2010 - mindblowing today!

They did some great deals at times. I think I paid about £250 for Alchemy complete and the two fx apps. I remember paying about £100 for one of the early Prophet early software synths and that was a bit pants lol. My first software synth was by Virsyn on PC- can't remember what it was on the Amiga apart from having OctaMed or something like that.
