  • Ok! I’m in!

  • So is it an IAP for Punchlab? It seems so.. Nice.

    You had me at “FAC”

even though I never use Punchlab, or half of his other apps. I really only use Alteza and occasionally Medusa or Bandit.

  • i actually tend to turn the FIZ element of Punchlab off most of the time, but I'll still buy this for dedicated "fizz" away from my drum bus

  • Advanced Fizz module, I’m in! 🤩

  • Yeah, I’ll buy this if it’s an IAP.

Would like Fred to look into Altezza on desktop, though. My projects keep losing their Altezza settings in GarageBand and Logic Pro and they will also load up very weird settings which will then resolve after the tracks are played a while. Something just not acting right there.

  • The twitter post says it is a new AUv3, so it must be a new app based on the Fizz section of Punchlab

    “New AUv3! Soon!

Infuse your sound with audio-rate modulation. FAC Fizzica extends FAC Punchlab's Fizz module, maintaining its intuitive design while introducing advanced features for extensive sound shaping.”

“Extends” makes it sound like an IAP.

It does. But 'new AUv3' makes it clear that it is actually a new AUv3 rather than an IAP

    👌

Also, I think that adding IAPs for pro upgrades to Punchlab modules could be a great idea. @FredAntonCorvest

  • Ummm not sure what it is or why I need it….hahahaha

  • Let’s get Fizzical, Fizzical! 🎶🎶

    Haha.

Whatever it is. Its FAC and i need it

  • I am simple man, i see @FredAntonCorvest dropping new plugin, i hit BUY instantly.

Also there is not much audio rate modulation options on iOS, and considering stellar quality and UI of Fred's plugins - instabuy.

His chorus and phaser are really nice. FAC Envolver is by far the most useful of his apps, but it requires one to think and hear like a modular synthesist to understand what to do with it, and not everyone thinks and hears that way.

  • This looks great @FredAntonCorvest

The fizz in Punchlab good to add crispy foleyness to a beat.

If this is what I think it is, it would be ace if you could load a fizzy sample in the noise slot. Just sayin 😉

Agreed, yes, I have them all.

I forgot about Envolver. I’ll admit I didn’t really know what to do with it when it came out years ago, but since spending a few years learning about modular synthesis, and discovering what can be done with envelope generators/followers, gates, triggers, etc. Drambo has taught me so much about actual sound design, and also made me realize that there’s really only a handful of these auv3 apps that bring something to the table that cannot already be built in Drambo (or MiRack).

  • I don't know exactly what it does, but FAC FIZZICA is such a cool name I think I want this app.

  • Similar to Eventide Crushstation?

  • Just added an fm module to all my drum track outputs ( Fac Drums )

Hope this will be similar or as onother type of oscilators. That works well also, with drum hits.

The fm modules ( Drambo )

Have a velocity knob. So the sound still gets velocity via pads.

Maybe the app will have a velocity, similar.

based on description this looks to me like completely different than Crushstation

  • The closest thing we already have is Klevgrand Fosfat.

  • Preordered. It’s FAC so obvs, but also sounds right up my street.

I hope it's better than Fosfat. I've found that one completely useless.

  • Bought ( in case its like this )

Which would suit dagger, I guess.

Looks more like a combined FAC Envolver + ring modulator to me. But the sidechain mode could be where it's really at, we really need a demo of that!

    :)

  • The documentation is online since I started the pre-order, and this is the trailer video about it :)
