Is there anything like the bottom pads on DrumJam
Hey Folks anything like the pads on the bottom half of Drum Jam? It’s so fun to play, I was hoping I could find something I could connect to a synth. I guess arpeggiated pads with what I guess is a different velocity?

Anybody, Bueller …. Bueller… anyone …Bueller
Hi there!
Why looking for another app than DrumJam?
You can use DrumJams MIDI OUT to control whatever you want, including both synths and other drum apps…
Or, is it something I missed with your demands for a similar app like DJ?
That’s AWESOME!! Thank you
Bleass Arp is a great app, although I'm not certain it's exactly what you're looking for. But well worth looking into.
I Haven’t toyed with it enough it’s possible I’m only looking for an ARP, I just have been having a blast with Drum Jam and want more things to be like it I guess
I think you should try Beatsurfing.
Isn’t that subscription?
Not anymore
This has inspired me to try building something in Drambo.
If anyone wants it, I can upload it.
Absolutely genius!!
@Drrabbitfoot Thanks. I had fun building and playing with it. I have a couple ideas to make it a bit nicer and will upload it, when I'm done.:)
I like how you’ve made it look straightforward and playful! 👍
@jsmonzani Thanks I guess I try to leave only the (to me) most useful controls on the screen.
I’ve worked a bit more in it and now it’s a bit inspired by the unfortunately discontinued snap by reactable. Meaning you can set a base sequence and add to it via the xy=pads on the fly, but get back to the original sequence, when you let go. I’m having lots of fun with this.
This is awesome I’m seriously glad my question inspired something
Well done. +1 for an upload when you’re happy with it.
That looks & sounds great @tyslothrop1!
Same!
And by all means please share the project here! Don’t need to be the final one yet (maybe you will want to put that one in patchstorage) but I’m curious what is going on already 🤫
@rs2000 @pedro thanks!
I was about to post the patch, but then wanted to save and accidentally reverted to the last save. But I know what I want in it and what not and I guess tomorrow I'll patch it up again and post
@tyslothrop1 : looks/sounds gr8!
Thanks everybody for the nice comments:)
So I this is what I came up with. Maybe I’ll still add some kind of velocity control, but I guess it’s mostly how I want it.
And here’s a little walkthrough.
Very nice!
Thank you this is awesome
@bleep @Drrabbitfoot Thanks, glad you like it:)
Brilliant @tyslothrop1, thank you!
Perhaps you should make an own thread for this awesome work?
Easier for Drambo fans to find it...
@Jer4 thanks!
@HolyMoses yes, good idea, I'll post it to patch storage, also a melodic rack that goes together with it nicely and then start a thread in the next couple of days:)
Here it is:

Not sure if it was mentioned but @sonosaurus talked about creating an AUv3 version of the Drum Jam Pads in this forum. Not the whole DJ app just the pads at the bottom. Also sonosaurus said that any IAPs purchased in DJ, would be unlocked in the AU Drum Jam Pad app. This was maybe 10-12 months ago, and I have no idea if it is still in the works, but your post reminded me about it.
Maybe @sonosaurus could chime in and let us know if the DJ AU Pad app is still on the roadmap…?
Well there would be at least one purchaser
