EGDR909 - Opinion
I am wondering if anyone here is using the EGDR909? I tried briefly the demo, which is nice of them and it sounds pretty nice. I couldn't find any way to make velocity on HH, but it's just the demo. Also does anyone know if it has individual outputs available when using a AUv3? I really like Nodes so checking out more of their stuff. Thanks

EGDR909 doesn’t have individual outs.
As much as I love Elliot Garage as a developer, that drum series was his very early work, and is way past its prime. Unless you’re yearning for some 909 visual and sequence style, I would give it a miss.
EG Pulse has a 909 kit, possibly using the same samples, and offers lots more. There are also free 909 samples out there that you could use in many drum apps.
Thanks, I will check that that out
Vadrum2 is worth a look for 808/909 sounds. It’s using analogue synthesis emulation for most of the sounds and is currently on sale.

It’s also a Universal purchase and works on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Thanks. Looks and sounds interesting.
Works great in combination with Octagron sequencer.
Patterning 3 is a good option. Plenty of 808/909 kits in the database, along with pretty much everything else you could want.
You should also have a look at the Drum Machine in Pure Acid - absolutely superb.
Also consider Hammerhead for the inbuilt samples plus you can load yer own. The swing options are 👌
Yeah , you all actually reminded me on those. I have P3 , Pure Acid and Koala, so I should be set:)
