Take some deep breaths then have a nice cup of chamomile tea. 🤓
I’m on it!
That’s such a great blend of influences. Love the production on this!
Thank you, Michael. This started out as just a straight EDM track, but I diverged a little bit. I’m happy with it. Have a good one!
It’s hard to tell that’s where it started, but it’s definitely not EDM now! I’m not surprised you’re happy with this one!
I've been away from forum, and glad I came back to this. I remain convinced that Paulieworld is actually a collective of many talented musicians who collaborate and can do stuff in any genre!
now that's super cool!
Glad you’re back. I guess I’m a Jack of all trades, master of none… or maybe just a jackoff. Thanks for giving a listen. Have a great day!
Thanks Joseph. I have been listening to a few people on the KVR Audio Forum. One guy in particular, Eric, does some extremely cool EDM stuff, and it motivated me to try it. About halfway through, I just started doing my own thing. I was looking for an excuse to use my Soylent Green bit and threw it in at the end, just like the movie. I’m thinking about doing something similar with the final scene of Planet of the Apes. Charlton Heston really had some great, iconic ending lines!
I agree - how do you do it @Paulieworld ? There are clearly several of you. This is perhaps the best of yours I’ve heard. Originality off the scale, and yet, it’s not ‘weird’ - the whole song hangs together as a cohesive piece. You must be dead chuffed with this one right?
@BillS Thanks, Bill. I wish there were more of me. The others could go to work so I could stay home and play with my iPad. You added a new word to my vocabulary - chuffed. I first read it in one of your posts and now use it whenever I can. It's unknown in Chicago and I often have to explain. Have a great day!
Good one, Paul. Every influence since 1941.
I did wonder how well that word translated - I’m chuffed you’ve embraced it 😂
I love your ambient soundscapes, always enjoy your cinematic creations, but man when you throw down a dance track it’s down right infectious.
Arthritis keeps me from boogieing these days, but I’m dancing in my mind. Have a great day.
A real "kitchen sink" of a mix! But it all fits together so well! Some kind of acid house/lysergic acid cross? Love it!
I’m tickled pink that you like chuffed 😊
Perhaps you should patent ‘kitchen sink’ as a new genre… you are indeed a master of blending these diverse sounds into something amazing!
