    Airplane mode?

Will abe link still work across ipads ?

Is this probably the only way to stop this intrusive notification ?

  • Link won’t work between devices if WiFi is disabled, unless you connect them over wired Ethernet on a network without internet access.

I doubt there’s any way to block OS update messages … other than to comply and do the update.

How lame. Like the split screen dots. The file system etc.

    This probably worse though.

Crashing your audio to get you to update.

It didnt used to act like some sort of spyware in your daw. Only just updated and these updates are maybe to slow you down ( which they were sued for )

Sometimes you just wanna forget you making music on a screen ( for musics sake )

  • Tired.

Get annoyed with apple when tired.

  • That’s crazy if you can’t turn it off. What happens if you are playing a live set? Does the notification keep turning up at the same time of the day? Does it still arrive when your ipad is switched off, or does it wait till you are on it?

    Yeah.

It just keeps showing in host like a creepy AI from Moon ( movie )

But it made all audio go weird.

Like when loading a synth, whilst other tracks are playing.

Only when on I guess and unsure if timed.

  • Have you turned off Automatic Updates (in Software Updates)? That way, I just see a red "badge" on the Settings app when an update is available.

Lately I've been getting notifications even with Automatic Updates off.

I check after every update to be sure Apple hasn't switched it back on. I also tap the entry to be sure that the sub-entries are off as well.

    Yeah.

    Updates are off.

Dont think a notification used to show in Drambo.

  • How about configuring a Focus Mode - e.g. “Work”? It should allow you to restrict notifications to specific apps. Not sure if that will block update notifications.

  • Enable and turn on Guided Access. Nukes any and all notifications and alerts including even low battery popups.

The downside is that you also have to stay in a single app, but maybe that's actually what you want.

    Or set do not disturb.

    Thanks.

I dont get notifications apart from a settings for ios update notification.

Not sure if any suggestions made would have a block settings notification option.

I wouldnt mind but overloading cpu and making audio glitch ( Im sure that were the case )

A different level of apple absurdity.

  • I always enable Do Not Disturb and Silent Mode to prevent loud squawks from my speakers. A note on the music stand reminds me to do it. Those should prevent all notifications.

    Doesn't prevent things like:

    • Low Battery alerts
    • Government alerts
    • healthd alerts
    • Repeated calls from the same source (if enabled in settings)

As mentioned, if the OP is fine with sticking to a single app, GA is really the best option. It also prevents stuff like accidentally locking your device, changing device volume, or exiting the app, etc.

(full disclosure: I developed an industrial monitoring and control app for iOS used to control crucial equipment, and we got some major damage in the beginning due to random helpful interruptions from iOS -- this is why I'm traumatized and can fully recommend GA 😃)
