Scuttle Buttin - Nembrini Double Reverb Guitar Amplifier
An attempt to play Stevie Ray Vaughan's 'Scuttle Buttin' using the new Nembrini Fender Twin Reverb amp sim.
(SRV played this track so fast, I'm still about 20bpm out!!!)
Thanks @NembriniAudio, I love this amp, sounds great! Highly recommended along with the Faceman.
Strat -> Nembrini Double Reverb (with York Audio 2x12 Fender Twin cab IR) -> Nembrini Delay3000 -> DDMF MagicVerb (-> Youlean -> TB Morphit)
Sidenote: As an experiment, I dialled in the amp using the 'Fender Magic Six' setup to get that classic sound.
Bright: On
Volume: 6
Treble: 6
Middle: 3
Bass: 2
(Middle x Bass = 6; 3 x 2 = 6)
(If there's a Master Volume it should be set to an appropriate level which could be 6, but maybe not. Other knobs have nothing to do with 6 - I put the Reverb at around 2, left the Vibrato off.)

You nailed it! Stevie is looking down and smiling!
Amazing playing! Thanks for the Fender Magic Six info too - not heard of that before.
The G string is always the one isn't it!
@pbelgium Your playing and that “amp” both sound entirely authentic. Great job!
Thanks for the kind words @Paulieworld. I was very fortunate see SRV and Double Trouble at the Reading Rock Festival in 1983, Texas Flood Tour - don't think he came over to the UK that often.
Thanks for listening @AlterEgo_UK. I've had gigs using Fender amps where you have to get on and off the stage very quickly with no soundcheck, the Magic Six got me through.
Thanks @Schmotown. I can see that the Double Reverb just might become my new favourite.
Short and sweet… lovely!
Thanks for the listen and bump @GeoTony - you're late! This was not an easy one to play. The main riff is played with just one finger and either bending the strings or sliding - the studio version used bends but on tour he switched to slides to reduce finger strain.
Wonderful playing. And great sound.
Thanks for listening @LinearLineman, much appreciated. This sim does sound very good!
Nasty in the best sense of the word. Encore!
Thanks, @myapologies - I don't get too many 'nasties'. I'm a bit busy of late, but will definitely be playing more Double Reverb.
