baby steps

Not being John Coltrane who was, indeed, a giant, I am content with any steps I can make within my particular abilities.

Pianoteq, Ravenscroft 275, BeatHawk vibraphone, NeoSoulKeys EP.

  • No comments? WTF. Coltrane was a giant. Sadly, he like so many others, passed at an early age. Nasty way to go. I think Stan Getz died of the same thing. He certainly left a legacy that you and many others have carried on. Hard to believe this was once mainstream. I know folks will probably hate me for this, but the Beatles set music back a hundred years… or may have wrecked it forever.

Lovely tone. Guessing that it’s a blend of all four. Sounds great in my headphones. What’s for dinner?

  • Wow I didn’t see this one
Giant steps is what popped into my head when I saw the thread title so good for you Mike it worked lol
    Awesome track…

  • Thx for listening @Paulieworld. Coltrane died of liver cancer. Not sure about Getz. Coltrane was such a deep guy. The story about him disappearing from his family for a week or so and coming out with A Love Supreme… like Moses on the mountain.

Thank you @Dav yes, big steps, little steps… still steps. That’s what we do till we step off the planet.
