Gospel Rotary by Gospel Musicians (Released)

INTRODUCTORY OFFER $6.99 until September
1st, 2024

Gospel Rotary is a physical modeled Leslie rotary emulation which exactly mimics the doppler and cabinet tone of a real 145 cabinet speaker. We captured the impulse response from 12-different positions of the horn and drum and re-assembled them in code, in order to produce an exact acoustic modeled Leslie tone. Furthermore we used different mic types and mic positions, along with the ability to dynamically dial in mic angles. We also isolated the noise portion of a real Leslie and offered separate drum and horn noise algorithms that react to the organ sound input. Finally, we added 11-band EQs and Filters for the horn and drum independently, which allows you to specifically dial-in any tone you wish.

Highlighted Features:

• AUv3 and Standalone
• Physical Modeled Rotary
• Authentic cabinet tone
• Independent drum and horn speeds
• Different drum algorithms

Comments

  • Damn it. iPad only. Looks cool otherwise.

  • And yet another one. Is this any better than Yonac's recent release?

i was searching for an emulation. from the description it sounds great

  • The Rotary is out AND the Gospel Organ is in review by Apple according to comments from the developer:

Yonac’s is actually an organ, no? This is just the Leslie

  • The Organ and the Leslie will be two separate apps. On the desktop they come with one installer, but on iOS, we are limited to creating two separate apps.

Yonac also recently released a Leslie emulation:

I am, and going from real hardware to IK B3X to a Ventilator pedal, I've come to finally build my own in Drambo - for the sake of being more flexible in fine-tuning the sound. Emulating a number of Leslie cabs is great but going to more extremes has been a fun experience for me, which quite depends on the sound I'm processing and the context I'm using it in. I'm not planning to share it but I can give a few hints if anyone really wants to take the time to DIY one.

maybe you could share a recording you made with your drambo device? ;)

  • Just a quick note, that we updated the Gospel Organ and Gospel Rotary with new presets. When you open the app, you should see the update. If you turned off notifications, then go to the Downloads area in Settings.

  • Just wanted to let you guys know that we added a quick FREE update with version 1.0.3 that adds the Vibrato to the Rotary.
